The town of Corsano rises sull'altura delle Murge Salentine near the coast in the Adriatic and is located in the province of Lecce. Many historians say that the country has very ancient origins dating back to the fifth century during the Roman occupation. In the village can visit the Castello Baronial Capece built during the seventeenth century in the central square of the country. The main church in the country is dedicated to San Biagio, has ancient origins also because it was built around the'60s.
